Terms
The agreement between you and the Hub when you use this site or buy a ticket.
Who we are
The Social-Lus is operated by The Social-Lus (legal entity to be confirmed), Knysna, Western Cape, South Africa. Contact: hello@sociallus.co.za.
Tickets
- Prices are in South African rand and include any VAT that applies. The total you pay is shown before you pay.
- Payment is taken by PayFast. Your order is confirmed when PayFast tells us the payment succeeded, and your tickets are then shown on screen and emailed to you.
- Each ticket has its own QR code and admits one person once. A copied or screenshotted code only works for the first person who presents it.
- Anyone with your ticket link can use your tickets. Share it only with the people coming with you.
- You may give your ticket to someone else. Tickets may not be resold for more than you paid.
- Refunds and cancellations are covered by our refund policy.
Events
- The Hub travels, and venues are sometimes confirmed close to the date. If the town, date or start time of an event changes after you have bought a ticket, we will email you and you may ask for a refund.
- Some events serve alcohol or are for adults only. You may be asked for ID, and may be refused entry without a refund if you are under age for that event.
- We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone whose behaviour puts other people at risk.
- Photos and video are taken at events and may be used on this site and our social media. Tell a staff member if you would rather not appear.
Members
- The members listed here are independent businesses and creatives. When you order from or book a member, including through a WhatsApp link on their profile, your agreement is with that member, not with the Hub.
- Members are responsible for their own products, prices, licences and the accuracy of their profile.
- We may edit or remove a profile that is misleading, unlawful or against our member standards.
Using this site
Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, forge tickets, or use it to send spam. We may suspend accounts or cancel orders made in breach of these terms.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. Beyond those rights, the Hub is not liable for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, and attendance at events is at your own risk to the extent the law allows.
General
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa. We may update them; the version that applies to an order is the one published when you placed it.
